PAMPERING DAY AT THE DEVON: The very successful 2nd annual pampering day will take place at The Devon Inn on Sunday, March 22 from 3-6pm. The MC for the afternoon will be by Caroline Ryan of Style by Caroline who says “My passion lies not in fashion but in the art of easy, timeless style.” Patrons will be treated to Champagne and canapés on arrival before sitting down to enjoy a fashion show. There will be hair and beauty demonstrations, exhibitors from salons and local businesses as well as a talk from Kay McDonnell, owner of the Listowel Therapy Centre and author of the book’ The Matter of Life’ who will speak on how to prevent aging of the skin, the pros and cons of Botox and more. There will be prizes for The Most Stylish Lady, Mother and Daughter and Glamorous Granny, along with spot prizes and a raffle. Tickets at just €10 are available from the Festival office at Mary Dan G’s, the Devon Inn and Leens Hotel. The Pampering Day would make a lovely day out for a group of ladies or a very acceptable present for Mothers’ Day.
